Thor star Chris Hemsworth wished his fans a Merry Christmas on Friday, with a cheeky and hilarious photo.

The 38-year-old Hollywood star shared a photo of himself showing off his bulging biceps while doing a workout from his Centr fitness app, with a beard and Santa hat photoshoped on him.

“Put in the hard yards of the workshop of Santa Claus!” Merry Christmas to everyone !! xo, “Chris wrote in the caption of the image.

A Christmas tree and a reindeer were also digitally imposed on the image.

Chris is in Prague with his family while filming Extraction 2 for Netflix.

He will reprise his role as mercenary Tyler Rake who was shot and appeared to be dead at the end of the first Extraction movie.

The extraction was supposed to be filmed in Australia but has been moved due to the Covid-19 pandemic and lockdowns.

The highly anticipated sequel to 2020 Extraction – which became Netflix’s most-streamed original film upon release – was slated to be shot in the port city, but producers decided in August to move to the Czech Republic.

Filming is expected to last four months, until March 2022.

Chris told Today Extra hosts David Campbell and Sylvia Jeffreys he was frustrated with the NSW lockdowns when the decision to move Extraction was made.

But he acknowledged that the state government made the right decision to impose restrictions when it did.

“Back then I was really, like, like, ‘Ah, you know, enough blockages’, but you go somewhere else and you’re like, ‘Actually, we’re doing a really good job at reducing the effects.’ ” he said.
