Today, during the Television Critics Association’s summer press tour, Hulu showcased the company’s upcoming original programming, including the highly anticipated new drama series. Sick, with Michael Keaton, Peter Sarsgaard, Michael Stuhlbarg and Rosario Dawson; the second season of the acclaimed and Emmy® nominated comedy series Great, with Elle Fanning and Nicholas Hoult; new comic series Only the murders in the building, with Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez; and Nine perfect strangers, the latest limited series from executive producer David E. Kelley and starring and executive produced by Nicole Kidman and Melissa McCarthy, all of whom join the company’s collection of premium original content.
The company also announced a serial order for the new Hulu Original comedy series. that fool, inspired by the life of aspiring comedian Chris Estrada, in which he will also write, play and produce. In addition, the bestselling Hulu Originals True Crime collection is growing with two new titles announced today: a documentary sleeping dead by award-winning director Skye Borgman and Captivated audience, a docu-series that explores the evolution of real-life crime storytelling through the prism of a family’s journey.
