Hugh Jackman has shared the results of his latest skin biopsy – and while he hasn’t figured it out yet, the star remains optimistic.

The X-Men actor, who had cancerous growths from his nose removed in 2013 and 2017, underwent another procedure last week after his dermatologists worried about another mole.

Now, he reveals that he is still not sure whether the offending growth is cancerous or not, but he is indifferent because even if it is, the particular type of cancer is “very treatable”.

“Update on my biopsy. He came back inconclusive. The worst that can be is Basel cell carcinoma (BCC) which is very treatable, ”Hugh said in a video posted Sunday on his social media accounts.

“When I finish filming, it will be rechecked. I know I’m repeating myself but… please do a skin exam and wear sunscreen. Thanks everyone for the support. “

Hugh is preparing to star in the Broadway revival of The Music Man, which is set to premiere on December 20, with performances currently scheduled until July 2022.
