Deborra-Lee Furness hosted the Global Citizen Live concert in New York on Saturday, while her husband Hugh Jackman took the reins at the same event in London.

And the 65-year-old certainly looked cool and quirky as she created a red carpet storm at the event, which saw dozens of acts around the world take place to raise money for a charity.

Deborra-Lee, from Sydney, opted for a signature black t-shirt for the occasion, which she teamed with a pair of leggings and shorts.

The mother of two finished the outfit with a pair of black lace-up shoes.

Deborra-Lee chose to wear her signature blonde hair in a sleek and chic style for the event.

The star was later seen taking hosting duties at the microphone.

Global Citizen Live is a 24 hour global event starting September 25 to unite the world to defend the planet and end poverty.

It is co-organized by Hugh Jackman in London and his wife Deborra-Lee in New York.

The concert includes performances by Kylie Minogue in London and Keith Urban in Las Vegas.

Cathy Freeman and Celeste Barber will also make appearances.

Delta Goodrem will be the only Australian artist to perform to an empty audience at the Opera House due to the city’s ongoing lockdown.
