They can each have hugely successful careers in music and acting, but Keith Urban claimed that he and his wife Nicole Kidman are “as normal as possible”.

The 54-year-old revealed intimate secrets about his marriage to Nicole and the first time they met during an interview on Jessica Rowe’s podcast series, The great talk showadmitting he thought the Hollywood star was way out of his league when they first met.

“We’re just a couple working it out, going through things together, living and supporting each other the best we can and trying to raise our family,” Keith explained. “Beneath all of that, we’re as normal as it gets, I think.”

Keith and Nicole met at the G’Day LA event in 2005, and although he says he was “not in a great place” at the time, their relationship has since grown stronger. The couple married the following year and have since welcomed daughters Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret. Nicole also has two children from her previous relationship with Tom CruiseConnor and Isabella.
