Novák discussed links with the Hungarian diaspora and the threat of brain drain with Hungarians working on the West Coast during the meeting in Los Angeles.

Miklós Czaun, who founded and leads the West Coast Hungarian Scientists Club, said talent promotion and related cooperation were topics that were discussed at the meeting.
