But your favorite celebrities are also turning their attention to the golden age of Hollywood as the next inspiration, shining the spotlight on music and film legends. So if you feel like everyone is suddenly playing late 50s, 60s, 70s, and 80s icons, you are right.
Singing sensations including Whitney houston, Aretha franklin and Elvis Presley get a movie makeover, played by Naomi Ackie, Jennifer hudson and Austin Butler, respectively.
Tom holland and Chris evans both jump from their roles as Marvel superheroes and land in the past, playing the pioneers of film music Fred astaire and, it seems, Gene Kelly.
